posted 4 Jan 2021, 10:08 by Kate Brown

As Gloucestershire has now been placed in Tier 4, effective from 30th December, Fenton’s, the Village Hall and Café@Fenton’s have had to shut until further notice.

We will post again once we have further information on re-opening.

We will miss you all and look forward to seeing you again soon in 2021. Take care & stay safe.

From everyone at South Cerney Halls.

Christmas and New Year Closure

posted 24 Dec 2020, 02:44 by Kate Brown

The Village Hall and Fenton's including Café@Fenton's will shut on the 23rd December at 1pm. We had hoped to reopen at 9am on the 4th January 2021, if Government restrictions allowed.

However, with the Government announcement that Gloucestershire will move into Tier 3 from 26th December this may not be possible for all classes and for the Café@Fenton's.  We will keep you posted on the situation as it evolves and of course we will be in touch personally with all tutors and event organisers.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support during a challenging year for us all and we would like to wish our staff and volunteers a well deserved Christmas break to be with their families.  As always your support and custom is very much appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all once again in 2021.

Best Wishes for a safe and Merry Christmas, the South Cerney Halls Team

She has won the Junior section of the Cotswold Water Park Trust (CWPT) calendar competition and has had 3 of her brilliant photographs included in their 2021 calendar.
What a fantastic achievement and we are so proud of her!

Try something new with your dog

posted 24 Dec 2020, 02:05 by Kate Brown

We are hoping to be able to run this course, Cotswold Sniffers, at the Village Hall from January 2021, if Covid 19 regulations allow.

A new sport that gives you and your pet dog a chance to bond, have fun and enjoy working together as a team.  It would be on a Thursday and cost £15 for a 2 hour session.  Classes are for young and old dogs as well as those with injuries who don't want to retire and need mental stimulation.  As a part of 'sentworkuk' you will receive training from recognised trainers.

Please drop Nigel Wilkes (07974 918180) a message if it something you might be interested in.  🐕🐶

Why not take a walk and have a look at Fenton's Poppy Appeal Window?

If you wished to make a donation to the the Royal British Legion this year but weren't sure how, you are able to donate using the QR code in our window display via your phone.  There are also poppies and pins inside all the village shops and the post office.

In line with Government Advice we will be closed from Thursday 5th November.

But until then while you are there why not pop in for a cup of coffee or tea too or a delicious piece of homemade cake?  We are open Monday to Saturday 9am -1 pm. We hope to see you soon! Covid19 safety measures are in place. Please wear a mask in all communal areas.  Contactless payments only.
